Matthew is the founder of our family-friendly company.  He graduated from LSU in 2005 with multiple degrees. Over 19 years of architectural & construction field and executive experience.   Matthew specializes in commercial design build, value engineering, planning, infrastructure development, heavy excavation, underground utilities, and value engineering services in the commercial & residential sector. Matt brings a lifetime of passion to the business and is able to bring a high level of professional management and development to business & home owners alike in the local community.

Melvin Lamp has been with LAMP Design + Build for 12 years and has 43+ Years in Architecture, Development, and Construction Administration. he has decades of extensive experience as an architect for a broad range of commercial and residential design. His career includes leadership on public-sector, commercial, hospitality, education, and mixed-use developments. Mel serves as chief architect and as a construction administration advisor.

James does the Architectural Drafting for LAMP Design + Build. He graduated from Louisiana Technical College in 2006, and worked as a Project Manager and Draftsman for many years at a high end glass company. His primary responsibility is to turn a customer's dream into a reality by developing blueprints through his proficiency with AutoCAD and his familiarity with all types of residential constructions, scalings, and dimensions. In James freetime he loves building things in his shop, working in his yard, and spoiling his wife.

Freddie has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and oversees every aspect of our projects on the job site from start to finish. Due to his wealth of knowledge, he is responsible for job site materials and ensuring every employee in the field completes each task on time and correctly.

Courtney leads the marketing and client-relations efforts at Lamp Design + Build. With an eye for detail and a passion for clear communication, she ensures every project is showcased with professionalism and purpose. From managing digital content to coordinating client outreach, Courtney helps keep the Lamp brand consistent, engaging, and connected to the communities we serve.
